After living in Chicago for many years, we moved to Southern California in 1986. I was widowed for a few years, and remarried in 2001, merging his five children with my two. We have four grandchildren and will become great-grandparents this year.
Volunteer, Civic, Sports & Travel Activities:
I've become involved with the mentally ill since retiring, first as a volunteer probation officer, and now as a local board member of a national alliance for the mentally ill. There is still plenty of time for golf and water aerobics, and I have delivered Meals on Wheels for the past seven years. We travel as often as time allows, and I'd have to say that my two favorite destinations so far have been Sydney and Tokyo.
